Thought Cab design is ANA agency design firm with clients who have their own story. There was a need to evaluate and upgrade Thought Cab Design’s website to make it clear, precise and consistent as possible with its visual language.

The Insight

The user interface needs a new way of visual hierarchy and layout. By redesigning the interface layout, we can make life easier for both workers and customers.

Our flexible design system helps speak with one voice to our different customers. Our call to action makes it easier than ever to get customers and inquiries double at the launch of the site

Defining Requirements

We set some key site objectives. Thought Cab's website should:

  • Create uniformity in brand voice and content.
  • Integrate an accessible user interface to update content and upload documents.
  • Include showcase features like testimonials/awards and image gallery.
  • Customers will find site navigation, product identification and product ordering easier.
  • Customers will be able to choose whether to buy directly from SBE or work with a sales agent.

Why Thought Cab stands out

Bring your ideas or paper sketches. We’ll do the rest, building the abstract into reality. ThoughtCab centers the design process on your thinking but takes your thoughts, moves them through the design and developing process, to bring them to life.

The low-fidelity wireframe did not include features such as color, design, logos, etc. This wireframe would act as a skeleton, giving us a foundation to build on.

High Fidelity

With the low-fidelity design completed, we moved toward developing high fidelity designs for the first draft of the website. We filled in the wireframe with images and extra features, building our first high-fidelity prototype which was tested for usability feedback among current customers.

The Process

We meet with you, our client, to understand the context of your ideas and clearly define what success means for you. We then identify and discuss the main features of the product experience and assess engagement requirements and usability parameters through an in-depth validation process.

During the experience crafting process, we make sure you’re up to date every step of the way and allow you to regularly review and assess what we’re building. Once the experience is complete, our Quality Assurance team conducts thorough tests to ensure all functionality is working correctly and engagement is as targeted, they then prepare a Beta Build. Once the Beta Build is complete and following an additional round of testing and refinement, your experience is ready to go to the market!

Conclusion

The new website showcases the brand language and allows potential clients to see Thought Cab’s latest, most relevant design products by displaying case studies. It also offers past clients free advertising; every time ThoughtCab showcases its designs, it also showcases their products. This enhances client-designer relationships. Finally, the new homepage is visually diverse and interesting: a key feature for a modern design agency’s website.
